The artisan and luxury typography

In this case, they mixed in a proper way the values of the brand through the typography.

“Savon Stories is an English company specialized in the handcraft of 100% organic soaps produced in small batches”.

Handcraft products represent luxury, something unique. It is represent through the serifs and the size of the letters.

Organic products represents movement and clearness. We can see that with the upper case typography and the position of the letters, seeming like a circle.

The bakery typography

It is a perfect match of a handmade sign that turns into a “logo” and a clean, basic and simple family font.

The sign gives exclusivity to a brand, no one can copy that sign, making the bakery irreplaceable and chic.

So we find the typography family full of power, bold and regular that brings balance and contrast. Which allows for more information to be given to the customer without overwhelming them

Botanical typographies

One of my favorite projects. They combine 4 typographies and they make all them look so professional and accurate. (mix more than 2 typographies in one project is a real challenge)

Here you can find how they decided to use each font for a purpose. In this kind of projects it is important to classify and know the distribution of the information to use the letters in a magnificent way.

Hope Illustrations

“It’s a series of 12 hand made posters done in various techniques, each one with the extract of a patient’s testimonial. All patients are fighting serious or incurable diseases, in hope of a cure. The idea behind the campaign is to send messages of hope to these patients in really tough scenarios and to the researchers that dedicate their lives searching for cure and better treatments”.

It is admirable how the letters, shapes and colors can give a little bit of hope in a project like this. This amazing work is produce by Cyla costa. All the phrases made in different techniques: lettering, paper cutting, watercolors, among others..
