HOW TO TUNE A GUITAR

Technology is replacing almost everything, the way people usually tune is no exception. One day you might not have an electronic tuner or a cell phone to download one. But luckily you can do it without this and now I am going to show you step by step how to do it.

Step 1

First at all, we need to go to the sixth string that is the thickest and make sure that the string in the air sounds the same as possible as a low E string. We can get help from another instrument. All goes from here.

Step 2

Then we are going to press on the fifth fret of the sixth string and we need to get the same sound on the open fifth string. When we get the same sound, we will have the fifth and the sixth string tuned.

Step 3

For the third step, we press on the fifth fret of the fifth string and try to get the same sound on the open fourth string.

Step 4

For the fourth step, we press the fifth fret of the fourth string and try to get the same sound on the third string in the air.

Step 5

In this step, we press the fourth fret of the third string, and we try to get the same sound on the second string in the air.

Step 6

And finally, we tune by pressing the fifth fret of the second string and we try to get the same sound on the first string.

If you want to be an expert on this, you need to practice. It will be helpful to remember the E sound and you won’t need another instrument to get it. You can do it! 🙂
